edited for the world bank

My career as an editorial consultant with the World Bank began in 2001. Since then I have edited hundreds of books and studies on a wide range of topics. I collaborate closely with the Bank’s professional staff and outside authors from all around the world. In addition to the larger works shown in the gallery, I have edited more than 120 issues of Live Wire, a series of briefs published since 2014 by the Bank’s Energy and Infrastructure Practices.

edited for the International Renewable energy agency

In 2015 I began an editorial collaboration with the International Renewable Energy Agency. I have edited, revised, or summarized some 50 research and policy reports for the agency. The most challenging assignments require me to distill technical information for presentation to high-level audiences, such as this piece done for a G-20 energy meeting in 2018. Work in 2023 includes this year’s edition of World Energy Transitions Outlook, Innovation Landscape for Smart Electrification, and Geopolitics of the Energy Transition: Critical Materials. Last year ended with the agency’s World Energy Transitions Outlook: 1.5°C Pathway and Geopolitics of the Energy Transformation: The Hydrogen Factor.
